Colourful strides galore for Bloom
Bloom Special Needs School fundraiser Debbie Nicholson said this year's colour run was an enormous blessing.
The sun came out to play as 550 fun runners of all ages got colourful to help raise a fantastic R60 000 at the annual Bloom Colour Run last weekend.
The winners for each category were: first man – Ken Crush; first lady – Elizabeth Hayes; first boy – Jordan Hope; first girl – Sadie Quinn; first family – The McConnachie’s; first Bloom student – Angus Eaton and first team – Bloomingdales.
Bloom Special Needs School fundraiser Debbie Nicholson said this year’s colour run was an enormous blessing.

“We are thrilled that so much money was raised as this will take the pressure off us for the next few months.
“A huge thank you to Sugar Rush and Holla Trails for allowing us to make use of their gorgeous grounds and also to the community for their continuous support. See you all again next year,” said Nicholson.
The little school, based in Foxhill, caters for a variety of different needs, from children with Autism and Down Syndrome to Cerebral Palsy.
