A bright new day for Umhlali trauma center

The containers have an all new, beautiful look.

The trauma centre at Umhlali SAPS received a whole new look last week.

Ashton International College’s outreach committee, together with their funky art teacher, painted the previously drab container units, turning them into colourful, vibrant works of art.

Some of the guys and girls from Ashton who gave the trauma centre a new look.

Originally spearheaded by the station’s spokesperson captain Vinny Pillay, the centre means a great deal to the policeman.

“On behalf of the whole station and its management, we thank Ashton very much for this fantastic effort,” said Pillay.

“The containers are simply stunning and the new look will help to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for those who need it.”
