Cheers to puppies at Sugar Rush

Festival-goers helped raise money for furries in need.

It was all puppy breath kisses and craft beer clinking at the Tops Lifestyle and Tops Tiffanys sponsored Ales for Tails festival at Sugar Rush last weekend.

Friends and families were entertained by Cassandra Fraser, The Name on the Drum, Roarke Anglebright, Mike Wagner and The Lion and The Bear followed by the rugby on a big screen.

With the entertainment came a large selection of craft beer, gin and wine from Basset Breweries, Distillery 031, Dark Side of the Brew, Nguni Brewing Company, Poison City Brewing, Robsons Real Beer and Seventeen87.

The festival-goers also helped raise money for furries in need.

Local pro-life puppy rescue organisation Sables Creatures and friends walked away with a much needed fat cheque of R30,897.93.

Special mention must be made of Mozambik Ballito who donated all funds raised from their food sales.

The money will go towards the non-stop vet bills and vaccination awareness campaigns.
