ENTER: Cast a line for charity at our Fishing Fun Day!

Enjoy a chilled day of fishing, picnicking and braaiing for the whole family, while reeling in big catches and winning great prizes.

Grab your gear, load the car and make your way down to Dudley Pringle Dam on Heritage Day (September 24) for our next Palm Lakes Family Estate Fishing Fun Day!

This awesome family friendly event is one for the calendar.

In partnership with the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, those taking part can enjoy a chilled day of fishing, picnicking and braaiing for the whole family, while reeling in big catches and winning great prizes.

Taking place on Monday, 24 September (Heritage Day), the event will be from 5.30am – 2pm, with prize giving at 10.30am.

Like last year, the event, which is sponsored by Royal Palm Lakes, Tongaat Hulett and Shayamanzi Houseboats, is not a fishing ‘competition’ and there will be no measuring and weighing of fish.

There will however be loads of excellent lucky draw prizes up for grabs throughout the morning.

Anglers can target any species of fish in the dam (including bass, tilapia and barble).

Kick boats, paddle ski’s and small inflatable paddle boats are allowed, however no motorised boats or sneaker motors will be permitted.
