Stage 2 load shedding will be implemented from 4pm – 10pm tonight.

See below the schedule for Ballito / Salt Rock.

The national power utility announced this morning that Stage 1 rotational load shedding will be implemented from 9am until 10pm tonight.

This is the third time this week that the country has been affected by load shedding.

Stage 1 calls for 1000MW to be rotationally loadshed nationally to protect the power system from a total collapse or blackout.

According to the Eskom website Ballito will not be affected today (Saturday, December 1), however if load shedding is moved to stage 2, Ballito will be without power between 8pm and 10.30pm tonight.

There is also a strong possibility of load shedding on Sunday.
