Interfaith prayer for life at Stanger Manor following rise in fatalities
"We are calling everybody to please come and join us in the fight against death in our area."
The alarming number of suicides, accidents and murders has motivated KwaDukuza residents to host an Interfaith prayer at the Stanger Manor Grounds on Sunday at 3pm.

“We have noticed that the number of people dying in different ways in and around KwaDukuza is very concerning, therefore we have invited people from different religious groups to join us and pray,” said coordinator Prem Maharaj.
He said almost every day, there was a funeral notice posted locally on social media.
“We are calling everybody to please come and join us in the fight against death in our area, it is too much,” said Maharaj.
One of the accidents that shocked most of the KwaDukuza residents happened on January 1 on the R74, near Stanger Manor.
The accident involved an emergency vehicle and a BMW sedan and resulted in the death of five people.
KwaDukuza deputy mayor Dolly Govender will be visiting the accident scene on Thursday at 3pm.
She also invited religious leaders to be part of the prayer.
