Excellent service is the key

Hirsch’s managing director Richard Hirsch was the speaker of the morning, whose talk was titled “The importance of service excellence in business.”

Hirsch touched on the history of Ballito, once being surrounded by sugar cane to becoming a thriving community and now one of of SA’s favourite holiday destinations and how it was built up in such a short period, showing that from a little dream anything can be accomplished.

“The world of retail is changing constantly, with a completely different landscape today from five years ago.

“To survive these changes, you need to stay ahead and just be faster and more innovative than anyone else.

“Service boils down to the simplest things that don’t cost you anything, starting with a friendly greeting and ending of with a simple thank you,” said Hirsch.
