No telephones at Umhlali SAPS for three weeks

Residents are urged to save the alternate number in case of an emergency.

Umhlali SAPS telephone lines have been down for the past three weeks.

According to the station’s spokesperson captain Vinny Pillay, this was due to cable theft.

“Telkom cable has been stolen four times in the area and we currently unsure when the issue will be sorted out,” said Pillay.

Residents can use the emergency number in the meantime 060 859 0142.
