Bow for the King and Queen of the shorebreak

Clear blue skies set the tone for the day with 42 daredevils taking to the waves for the body surfing event.

Hundreds of people flocked to Salt Rock Beach for the King and Queen of the Shorebreak competition on Sunday.

Scott Humphry won the Fiamma Fearless Trophy and The Mozambik King of the Shorebreak Trophy, beating Estavan Dippenaar in the final.

All the proceeds raised will be donated to the Inqolobane Children’s Home and will go towards specific needs.

For the first time, the event included a Queen of the Shorebreak beauty pageant.
