Wednesday ladies are runway ready

The Wednesday Club is a charity organisation consisting of around 16 members, who raise funds through donations, bridge drives and spring teas.

The Wednesday Club estimated that it raised in excess of R18 000 from its fashion show last Wednesday morning.

Most of the models were from the Umhlali and District Garden and Flower Club.

Guest speaker Roslyn Faber from Schwish Hair & Makeup Studio, talked about choosing the right hairstyle for your face shape.

Image consultant Ange Phoenix also gave an interesting talk on dressing for your body shape.

Tea and treats were served, and a raffle was held.

“We think the event went off very well,” said chairlady Gail Stefano.

They support Sunfield Home, St Luke’s Home for Healing, Westbrook Retirement Home, the trauma unit at Stanger hospital and various other organisations in need.
