JUST IN: North Coast skateboarder (15) critical, airlifted to eThekwini Hospital

The girl was showing signs of a serious head injury.

A 15-year-old girl who had fallen from her skateboard earlier this morning in the North Coast near Princess Grant Golf Estate has been airlifted to the eThekwini Hospital for urgent treatment.

Paramedics established that the girl was showing signs of a head injury and that her condition was deteriorating.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the nature of her injuries required that she be airlifted to hospital.

It is understood that the girl is in a critical condition and that specialists are awaiting her arrival at eThekwini Hospital.
