#ParentalAdvisory: Explicit power expected with JDM Live coming to Casuarina Beach

Polish up your bodywork and tidy those engine bays – JDM Live will be at Casuarina Beach on 17 November, hosted by LocalJaps SA, Nissan Owners Club KZN and XMEN KZN Crew in conjunction with Subaru Fun Crew (SFC), Toyota Republik and the GT86/BRZ Owners Club.

Bring your family and friends, braai-stands and pets to soak up the sun and have some fun on the beach, enjoying live music by KCD Klub Kulcha.

There will be no entry fee, just good vibes and stunning rides – bring along your best and gather around like-minded enthusiasts to show off the best JDM rides on this side of the continent.

For the VW TDi guys, perhaps you can have a particularly smoky braai in the corner while the VTEC, TRD, STi and GTR crews show you how it’s done – high revving Japanese machines are going to demonstrate the value of precision engineering – and honest emission standards.

Expect the cleanest Corollas and stanced Toyotas as the GT86/BRZ Owners Club of KZN will make a presence together with Toyota Republic KZN on the long straights of Casuarina Beach, while the Subaru crews from SFC KZN rock the road with their thunderous WRXs and STis.

Bikes are going to be welcome too when the cars cannot rev past 9000rpm, so it is going to be one wheel off the ground already with Honda CBRs, Suzuki GSXRs and cross-plane cranked Yamaha R1s among some of the best performance motorcycles expected to be on scene.

Let the world know: there’s ‘stock’, and then there’s ‘Durban-stock’.
