Only students writing exams expected at schools across the province today
The Department has urged that schools across the province make the necessary adjustments to their internal timetables for students who will not be attending school today.

In the interest of safety, the KwaZulu-Natal Education department has decided that only students writing exams today attend school.
The decision to suspend all other classes – except Grade 11s and 12s writing exams today – was made by the Head of the Department, Dr Enock Nzama who is concerned for the safety of students province wide with severe weather conditions expected for today.

Despite this numerous North Coast schools saw the blue skies and decided to continue as normal.
