Balwin management thanked all those who came to enjoy and support the Charity Hat Walk at Reddam House, and extended their thanks for making the contributions to the charities possible.
Presented by Balwin Properties, the Charity Hat Walk saw hundreds of people take to the streets on Sunday alongside their furry counterparts on a 5km Christmas walk while donning home-made hats and themed Charity Walk T-shirts.

Despite the increasingly hot and humid weather, the turn out at the second local Charity Hat Walk was excellent.

Balwin management thanked all those who came to enjoy and support the Charity Hat Walk at Reddam House, and extended their thanks for making the contributions to the charities possible.

Many charities this year benefited from the walk with cheques of R50 000 being handed over to each, and a cheque of R10 000 for Reddam House Ballito.Charities included Brenda’s Canine Fund; Give a Child a Family; Highway Hospice Association; Sea Rescue Institute; Tongaat Child & Family Welfare and Animally Haven.

The Charity Walk team and Balwin Foundation Board went through a stringent voting process where the charities were scored according to their financial prudence, focus areas and sustainability among other criteria.
