Exploring the garden at BBS Mica Ballito

Carol Hermann of the Ballito Bonsai Club was also there to give tips on how to grow bonsai.

More than 50 people came together at BBS Mica Ballito, Lifestyle Centre Nursery for the summer promo on Saturday.

Lindsay Gray from the School of Garden Design gave a fascinating talk on the care of plants and how to take your garden to the next level.

Caroll Hermann of the Ballito Bonsai Club gave a useful talk on bonsai care.

She also demonstrated how to create hanging baskets at different levels, planting in gutters and choosing the perfect indoor and patio plants.

Charmaine Nundalall walked away with great prizes on Saturday.

There were also lots of prizes to be won and each person walked away with a voucher.
