Mikhael makes waves at Battle Fest Drags
Although racing at high altitude and with heat waves at 38 degrees, Mikhael managed to hold his own.
Young Mikhael Timothy has done KwaDukuza proud once again.
Mikhael raced his normally aspirated daily driven Volkswagen Golf at the Battle Fest Drag Event, held in Dundee by Endumeni Motorsport Club on December 1.
Although racing at high altitude and with heat waves at 38 degrees, Mikhael managed to hold his own.
Racing at altitude makes non-turbocharged cars struggle for air, but this did not hold Mikhael back.
“I would like to thank my father Anley Timothy for being my mentor, and my only sister Mikayla for being my pit crew assistant, as well as Sagren Naicker and Keolin Naicker of Gsport Developments. I give my thanks to God for safe racing throughout the day,” said a relieved Mikhael.
The next event Mikhael will be racing is on December 14 at Dezzi Raceway.
