Two trucks and a car collide on N2 near Zinkwazi, killing one person
Paramedics described the scene of the accident as horrific, saying that one person had been killed, two critically injured and a further two people having sustained moderate injuries.
Emergency rescue personnel this morning arrived at the scene of an accident involving two trucks and a light motor vehicle enroute to Stanger.
Nothing could be done to save the life of one person who was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The left-hand southbound lane was closed.

IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst said two people from the light motor vehicle had suffered critical injuries with a further two people having suffered moderate injuries.
The injured were stabilised and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further medical treatment.
The collision, which was described as horrific by emergency rescue personnel, left the light motor vehicle in a mangled state beyond recognition.
Authorities will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the cause of the collision.
