Ndwedwe municipality vehicles burnt

Two of the four cars were completely burnt and it is currently unclear as to what caused the fire.

Four Ndwedwe municipality vehicles were burnt at the municipal parking lot this morning.

According to Ndwedwe mayor Nkosinathi Chili, two of the four cars were completely burnt out and it is currently unclear as to what caused the fire.

“We will wait for the investigation outcome. Currently I am not sure whether we will do our private investigation or we will rely on the police. However, I must say this is a very concerning issue. We can’t just lose vehicles in this manner because it will surely affect our service delivery processes,” said Chili.
