LIVE: President to address the nation on day 48 of lockdown
The address follows a number of meetings between the president, cabinet and the National Coronavirus Command Centre.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will tonight address the nation.
Confirming the address, presidential spokesperson Khusela Diko said the president was expected to start at 8.30pm tonight (Wednesday).
As of today, South Africa had a total of 11 350 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
“The president will address the nation on South Africa’s ongoing measures to manage the implementation of a risk adjusted strategy,” he said.
The address follows a number of meetings between the president, cabinet and the National Coronavirus Command Centre.
