Wall collapse kills construction worker at Zimbali

The man had been working on additions and alterations to the property.

A construction worker was killed at a property under construction in Zimbali on Tuesday afternoon.

It is understood that the 34-year-old man had severely injured when a wall collapsed onto him.

“He was certified dead at the scene,” said Provincial Saps spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele.

General manager of Zimbali Estate Management Association, Sarika Sewpersad said the man had been working on additions and alterations to the property in Milkwood Road.

The site has since been cordoned off for investigation.
