Blue Monday as loadshedding continues into the week
Stage 2 loadshedding will continue until 10pm, and resume at 9am tomorrow.

Eskom said tonight that they will not be able to avoid continuing loadshedding tomorrow.
Nationwide stage 2 loadshedding will end at 10pm tonight and resume at 9am tomorrow, until 10pm on Monday evening.
“Last night after the peak demand period Eskom teams successfully returned one unit at the Kriel power station, adding 475MW to the grid.
“The return of a generation unit each at Tutuka and Kriel power stations has been delayed, contributing to the supply constraints,” reported the power utility.

Eskom said the colder weather has also significantly increased demand for electricity.
There is a high possibility that loadshedding will further continue into the week.
