Buyers snap up new estate as Seaton records sales exceeding R179 million
More than 50 cars queued at the entrance of the future coastal estate and buyers signed up for property worth R80 million.
If last weekend proved anything, it’s that the North Coast is the place to be.
This follows the launch of The Bay precinct of Seaton, an ocean-side development at Sheffield Beach where this weekend alone an entire section was completely sold out.
More than 50 cars queued at the entrance of the future coastal estate and buyers signed up for property worth R80 million.
Public relations officer, Louise Hunt revealed that property sales had been unprecedented given the global pandemic, with sales valued at R179 million and counting taking place during the release of the first two precincts at Seaton – namely The Bay, and Precinct D.
“Only private sales were opened during lockdown level 3, and unsurprisingly, given the demand, sales of R100 million were conducted. More are pending with South Africans being able to move more freely,” said Hunt.

Developer Murray Collins of Collins Residential said the interest shown had confirmed what they already knew.
“If you have an exceptional product in a perfect location at the right price, there will always be significant demand. Seaton Bay is that product – it’s not only land in a glorious prime position, but land with an unrivalled lifestyle.”
