Eskom reduces loadshedding as power units are restored

Reporting a return to service of several units during the course of last night, Eskom today announced that it would not implement stage 1 loadshedding as planned for from 8am to 4pm.

Also the evening loadshedding has been downgraded from stage 2 to stage 1, taking effect at 4pm this afternoon until 10pm.

The power utility said loadshedding over the weekend had aided with the replenishment of several units.

Meanwhile, this is how you will be affected today:

KwaDukuza Southern Grid (Tinley Manor to Ballito & Zimbali): 6pm to 8.30pm.

KwaDukuza Northern Grid (Tinley Manor to Zinkwazi): No loadshedding.

Tongaat CBD: No loadshedding.

Tongaat Beach: No loadshedding.

Belvedere Tongaat: No loadshedding.

Mandini (16): 2pm to 4.30pm.

Mandini (A): 8pm to 10pm.

Mandini (B): No loadshedding.
