M4 to close ahead of recovery of 60-tonne crane truck this Wednesday
Teams are set to recover a 60-tonne crane truck in an operation which is expected to take about 5 hours.
The M4 between Sibaya Circle and the Watson highway will be closed from around 9am tomorrow.

Umdloti residents are advised that the N2 on-ramp will be closed.
“Residents living in the vicinity of cordoned off locations will be allowed access,” said Sewpersad.
“Plans are in place to ensure that all goes accordingly,” advised Sewpersad.
On the evening of October 29, a collision on the M4 near La Mercy saw a driver of a truck lose control, rolling down an embankment.
Medics arrived and worked tirelessly to free the trapped driver – specialised equipment had been used to free the driver, with the assistance of the eThekwini Fire and Rescue Services.
Netcare 911 paramedics treated the man before he was airlifted to hospital.
