N2 north set for total closure as Umhlali River bridge repairs start
Motorists should take note of the following changes to their daily commute along the N2 northbound.
Urgent repairs scheduled for the Umhlali River bridge today on the N2 northbound will see traffic diverted as the N2 closes to traffic from 9am.
Motorists are being advised to take note of the alternate route:
If travelling north along the N2, traffic will be diverted at the Umhlali off-ramp, and onto the Umhlali R102 north to Tinley Manor.
The diversion will connect you with the Tinley Manor link road to the N2.
Traffic officers from the Groutville RTI will be assisting in directing traffic.
