Truck crash causes havoc on the N2 Umhlali

Residents have reported significant wait times travelling north from Ballito towards Tinley Manor.

A truck crash at around 6am this morning on the Umhlali River bridge has caused heavy traffic jams on the N2 northbound from Umhlali.

Residents have reported significant wait times – as much as 2 hours – travelling north from Ballito towards Tinley Manor.

Clean up crews have been at the site since the crash this morning, but because of the size of the truck there is a lot of debris to clear which is causing the delay.

Traffic is being diverted to the R102.
