Loadshedding was suspended countrywide from 8am this morning due to an earlier then expected recovery.
Since Friday evening, Eskom has returned 4 generation units to service at the Medupi Power Station as the coal constraints improved.
Another 2 units also returned to service while the emergency generation reserves were replenished.
The possibility of loadshedding remains high while maintenance is being done.
Eskom has 4 664MW on planned maintenance, while another 13 539MW of capacity is unavailable due to breakdowns.
