Come and play in Zen Drive Park
The fixing, painting and eventual erection of the jungle gyms were done at a fraction of the cost by Handyman Dolphin Coast owner, Stiaan van Rensburg and his team.
Three new jungle gyms in the Zen Drive Park have given children of Ballito another avenue for fun and parents a quiet refuge.
The gyms were donated by residents through the Ballito Neighbourhood Watch (BNW).
“A number of residents rallied together to donate their unused jungle gyms and it really would not have been possible without them,” said BNW chairman Morne Steffens.
The fixing, painting and eventual erection of the jungle gyms were done at a fraction of the cost by Handyman Dolphin Coast owner, Stiaan van Rensburg and his team.
“It may seem like a simple job, but things have to be done to the highest specification given there will be children playing and Stiaan’s contribution has been invaluable,” said Steffens.
The Zen Drive Park had been underutilized for many years and was earmarked for projects that never came to fruition, said Steffens.
“There are of course other parks in our community, but I think this could become one of our best, there is a lot of space for parking and it is ideal for picnics and family gatherings.”
The park is centrally located and often quiet, the perfect place to let children play safely.
