Fundraising coordinator, Mpume Vilakazi, said the project "In Honour of Mom" enabled participants the opportunity to honour their mothers through a donation of R300 and have their names placed into the draw.
Durban North artists Angelika Anastasis and Heidi Shedlock have collaborated to create a unique art piece in aid of the The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund and in honour of Mothers Day.
Support the cause and stand to win the original painting valued at R16 000 or one of 5 limited edition prints.
Fundraising coordinator, Mpume Vilakazi, said the project “In Honour of Mom” enabled participants the opportunity to honour their mothers through a donation of R300 and have their names placed into the draw.
“Mothers represent love, kindness, strength, power. We are looking to the community to help us raise the funds needed to enable us to support our causes of feeding and clothing those less fortunate. It has become particularly urgent in the days of Covid-19 as people are losing jobs and we are feeding more people than ever,” said Mpume.
You can buy your tickets by Zapper, EFT or direct deposits and the draw is on Monday, May 31.
