KDM warns of ‘lights off’ on Wednesday night for sub-station repairs
The municipality said the power would be off for 1 hour.
KwaDukuza municipality has warned that the electricity will go off from Tinley Manor to Ballito on Wednesday, May 26.
A number of North Coast areas will be in the dark from 10-11pm while emergency work is done at the Shakaskraal sub-station.
Areas affected include:
- Palm Lakes
- Tinley Manor
- Shayamoya
- Nkobongo
- Shakaskraal in-land
- Glendale
- Etete
- Malende
- Chaka’s Rock
- Salt Rock
- Tiffany’s
- Mt Richmore and surroundings
2-Mbonini Sub:
- Shaka’s Head, Imbonini industrial site
- Umhlali County Club
- Caledon
- The Greens
- Compensation in-land
- Compensation sea-side area
- Milton Feeder
- Wakenshaw
- McDonald’s
- Laguna Seca and surroundings
3- Chaka’s Rock sub:
- Simbithi
- Salt Rock
- Chaka’s Rock
- Ballito north
