Watch: 103-year-old Ballito resident gets her Covid-19 vaccine

Ballito residents over 60 lined up to receive their vaccines.

Hundreds of residents in the over 60 age bracket queued at the Ballito Scouts hall at Townsend Park in Ballito last week for the Covid-19 vaccine.

103-year-old Ballito resident, Doreen Marx, was one of the first recipients of the vaccine. She was accompanied by her daughter Shirley Fraser (74) and their friend Marian Jones (73).

They all expressed their satisfaction with the service they received at the vaccination centre.

“We are very happy with the service, considering that I came with my mother who is very old and we were welcomed with warm hands and every nurse was offering to help us. Thank you,” said Fraser.
