Oscars quiz night at Siggi’s raises funds for flood relief efforts
The best dressed prize went to Fred and Laura Watts, who scored a weekend at Prince's Grant and a round of golf.
A delightfully fun quiz evening was held at Siggi’s in Salt Rock on Thursday last week, where R7 500 was raised for flood victims.
The theme was “The Oscars” and participants dressed to impress.
Amid much laughter, the winning team walking away with Siggi’s vouchers were Kim Weir, Jackie Braithwaite and Vera and Richard Wass.
Funds raised will go toward the KwaDukuza Residents Forum’s flood relief efforts.
Raffle tickets are still for sale at R20 until this Saturday. Prizes include a two-night stay for a couple at Zinkwazi Lagoon Lodge, and vouchers for participating restaurants affiliated to the Ballito Restaurant Association.
This Saturday, artist Steve van der Schyf will auction one of his paintings at the restaurant to add to the collection.
