Sip and Paint Bar launched at Ballito’s The Pottery
Allowing your creative juices to flow while enjoying a glass of red with your girlfriends, is one of the best ways to enjoy a night out in Ballito.
Originally only a daytime venue, The Pottery at Ballito’s Lifestyle Centre recently launched its first Sip and Paint Bar.
This opened up a world of new possibilities for evening entertainment in the classy Eat Street arena.
I took a group of girlfriends out painting at the alfresco-style café and pottery store last week to test drive the concept, and it was a riot of fun.
Nothing was too much trouble for our host, the manager, Tatum Bakos and her team of waiters.
We had ordered food from a number of restaurants in The Market and Eat Street and they were happy to zip out and collect our orders as soon as they were ready.
The Pottery’s own bar offers everything from coffee to cocktails.
Tatum let us choose our vessels and gave us a quick run through the basics and away we went. It was as easy as 1, 2, 3!
The end result was seven unique art pieces, each one a beautiful reflection of its creator’s personality and mood that night.
Going forward, The Pottery will extend their normal trading hours of 9am – 5pm on a Friday and Saturday until 9pm.
