Bakkie transporting workers rolls on N2 near Umhlali
Workers were injured when flung from the back of the bakkie when it left the road.
Advanced life support medics are treating three passengers who were injured when the bakkie they were travelling in rolled on the N2 southbound near Umhlali shortly after midday.
It is said the bakkie was en route to Durban when the accident occurred.
The driver was transporting workers when the vehicle left the road and rolled, ejecting the passengers from the back.
“The vehicle came to rest on an embankment,” Paul Herbst of Medi Response KZN said, noting that the bakkie had rolled multiple times.
