KwaDukuza municipality explains extended power outage affecting Glenhills
For the time being manual switching is being performed to ensure electricity supply.

The KwaDukuza municipality says the extended power outage on the Glenhills line on Tuesday was caused by a faulty I-Box which Eskom could not switch on remotely after the 9-11pm loadshedding.
This resulted in no electricity supply until the next scheduled loadshedding that ended at 5am on Wednesday morning.
The areas affected were Glenhills, Dendethu, Kearsney, Ntshawini, and the western part of KwaDukuza CBD.
The problem with the faulty I-BOX is being resolved with Eskom, and in the interim manual switching is being performed to ensure electricity supply.
