Bonding time for moms and daughters in Ballito
Keynote speaker, Annet Sewraj, emphasised the role mothers play in their homes to build and nurture their daughters for the future.
Support, love and encouragement were evident at the annual mother-daughter tea at the Ballito Lions Scouts Hall at Townsend Park on Saturday.
Hosted by Nation Builders Development, guests were given advice on how mothers and daughters could improve their relationships and use them as support structures through the different stages of life.
Nation Builders Development founder and CEO and keynote speaker, Annet Sewraj, emphasised the role mothers play in their homes to build and nurture their daughters for the future.
“Empowering women begins in our homes. We encourage mother-daughter relationships and the need for strong women to rise in our modern society to build stronger communities.”
The guests were also taken through a self-defense session by the Ballito Martial Arts Masters.
Led by Linda Smit, women were shown simple techniques to protect themselves when they are in danger.
