Emergency shutdown of lower Thukela bulk water supply

The water shutdown will be between 6am and 6pm.

Umgeni Water will shut down water supply to various towns on the North Coast tomorrow (Tuesday, October 18) to repair a gravity line on scour valve 10.

According to a public notice issued by ilembe Water Services, water supply will be shut down at 6am and repairs should be completed and water flow restored by 6pm.

The following areas will be affected: Zinkwazi, San Souci, Darnall, Lindelani, Nonoti, Blythedale, Saunders Reservoir, Glenhills, Warrenton, Stanger Manor, High Ridge, Shakaville, Townview, Mbozamo, Honolulu Reservoir, Groutville, Ntshawini and Melville.
