Eskom introduces stage 3 loadshedding during evening hours
Eskom said that the current increase in loadshedding was the result of higher breakdowns and lack of generation reserves.
With more than 20 000MW power generating capacity currently unavailable owing to planned maintenance, higher levels of power station unit breakdowns and depleted generation reserves, Eskom has implemented stage 3 loadshedding during evening hours to run in tandem with the stage 2 daytime interruptions.
Stage 2 loadshedding will run from 5am to 4pm, while stage 3 will run from 4pm to 5am daily until further notice.

Wednesday: 7-9.30am | 11pm to 1.30am
