Angel choir uplifts hearts

The purpose of the music feast was to raise funds for The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.

The Durban Symphonic Choir, All Souls Church congregants and community members came together on Sunday afternoon for the church’s Christmas in Song concert in aid of charity.

The event was sold out with the choir performing to a full house.

The purpose of the music feast – including a solo performance by Ballito’s former Drakensberg Boys Choir School’s 12 Club member, Kieran Griffin – was to raise funds for The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.

Kieran Griffin did a sassy sax number.

Fund co-ordinator, Charmaine Premlal, said the concert was a beautifully executed event.

“It was heartwarming to note the response of Ballito’s residents to support a good cause. Compliments to the organiser, Norma Dawson,” said Premlal.
