Reigniting the Pumpkin Theatre at La Montagne
Local musicians performed for the guests, which included a special performance by Jacques du Plessis.
The Pumpkin Theatre reopened last week under new management at Ballito’s longest standing hotel, La Montagne.
Guests enjoyed an evening of song by local entertainers, including a stand-out performance by Afrikaans singer/songwriter Jacques du Plessis.
The highlight of the evening was the surprise wedding of theatre managers Morné Lane and Moira Vorster.
Upcoming shows include a weekly karaoke night every Thursday from 7pm (R80pp), Dance Day sokkie on Friday, December 9 (R50pp), a 50s to Now tribute with Don Seagreen and Amy on Saturday, December 10 (R300pp – buffet included) and the Pumpkin Comedy Night on December 14 (R150pp).
