Deck the mall with Ballito Junction this festive season

From a soft toy corner for children, to activities for adults and teens alike, Ballito Junction Regional Mall is breaking out every kind of activity imaginable this festive season.

From longer shopping hours to charity gift wrapping and kids’ entertainment, Ballito Junction Regional Mall has introduced a full programme of holiday celebrations for its customers to enjoy while doing their Christmas shopping.

“We have taken great care to create a holiday season programme of events and services that our local shoppers and holidaymakers enjoy the most” said Ballito Junction CEO Geraldine Jorgensen.

This festive season’s must-see is the Festive Toy Town. An enchanted toy haven for people of all ages to enjoy.

Featuring Santa’s Workshop, Lego World, and an irresistible Soft Toy Corner for the younger children, as well as a Christmas themed photo booth with whimsical props for those memorable family photos.

The best part? There is free entry for all.

Toy Town will run until Christmas Eve, with daily activities from 11am to 3pm.

According to Sashena Ramparsad, Ballito Junction’s Marketing Manager, four other Christmas themed stations (including Santa’s photo station) were strategically placed to lead shoppers to Festive Toy Town.

“We believe it will captivate imaginations and hearts and create precious memories for years to come” said Jorgensen.

As per tradition, shoppers can take pictures with Santa from 10am to 5pm daily in the Level 4 Edgars Court. Likewise, the mall has put up a ‘Ballito Junction wish board’ where letters to Santa can be pinned.

From December 16, the mall extended its operating hours. While shops are now open from 8am to 7pm, Pick n Pay will operate from 7am and Checkers will close later at 9pm. These temporary trading hours include weekends and public holidays.

Should you need to do some last-minute shopping, Checkers and Pick n Pay will be open until 2pm on Christmas day.
