Multi-vehicle collision near Umdloti leaves 4 critically injured
Two taxis involved in pile-up.
Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving two taxis, a car and a bakkie on the M27 near Umdloti this morning.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue, one of the taxis rear-ended a bakkie, the force of which pushed it into the other taxi and car.
Four of the injured were in a critical condition, while two sustained minor injuries.
All patients were treated at the scene by advanced life support medics and, once stabilised, were taken to hospital for further care.
