Motorcyclist dies after solo accident on Esenembe Road

It appears no other vehicles were involved and the man lost control of his bike.

A man is his late 40s died this afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on the Esenembe Road.

The circumstances of the accident are unclear, but it appears there were no other vehicles involved and that the man lost control of the bike while riding.

“Advanced life support was initiated on arrival of paramedics, which led to a full resuscitation attempt.

“Unfortunately, attempts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful and he was declared dead on scene,” said Medi Response KZN spokesperson, Paul Herbst.
