Loadshedding escalated to stages 5 and 6 – get your times here
Several electricity generating breakdowns force Eskom to ramp up blackouts.
Owing to the breakdown of six generating units, Eskom has implemented stage 5 loadshedding today from midday until 9pm this evening.
It will then be escalated to stage 6 until 5am tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, after which stage 5 will then run continuously until further notice.

Ballito Southern Grid:
Tuesday: 3-5.30pm | 11pm to 1.30am
Wednesday: 1-3.30am | 5-7.30am | 1-3pm | 9-11pm | 11pm to 1.30am
Thursday: 5-9.30am | 1-.30pm | 9-11.30pm
Friday: 5-9.30am | 1-5.30pm | 9-11.30pm
Stanger Northern Grid:
Tuesday: 3-5.30pm | 11pm to 1am
Wednesday: 1-3.30am | 5-7.30am | 1-5.30pm | 9-11pm | 11pm to 1.30am
Thursday: 5-7.30am | 1-.30pm | 9-11pm | 11pm to 1.30am
Friday: 5-9.30am | 1-3.30pm | 9-11.30pm
