A pedestrian attempting to cross the N2 highway near Salt Rock was killed this afternoon when he was struck by a truck.
Responding to the scene of the accident, IPSS Medical Rescue reported the incident happened on the northbound lane.
The man, estimated to be in his 30s, was declared dead on arrival of the medics.
Police are investigating.
