Medic’s son dies three days before his father’s funeral

Sevaughn was killed in a motorbike accident in Hillcrest.

With just three days until his father’s funeral, Paul Herbst’s son Sevaughn passed away early this morning.

The 28-year-old was involved in a motorbike accident in Hillcrest.

The news was shared by his mother Linda Herbst on Facebook this morning.

“We have gone from a family of four to two in a matter of four days. I am numb, in disbelief. We have not even buried Paul yet,” she said.

Paul Hersbt was the director of Medi Response and who was found dead at his home last Tuesday.

Paul’s funeral will be held at Grace Family Church Ballito on Tuesday at 10.30 for 11am.
