Attempt after attempt popping balloons saw tensions running high before it came down to the last two balloons.
Dozens of attempts to pop a winning balloon and drive off with a brand new Proton X50 as prize came down to the second last of 30 balloons before a winner emerged at CMH Proton Ballito last Tuesday.
Five lucky participants from across the country arrived at the dealership last Tuesday as part of the company’s Valentine’s Day Win a Car competition.
Armed with bows and arrows, contestants took turns firing at balloons, one of which would see them win the Proton valued at about R600 000.

Firing the final arrow, Cape Town’s 21-year-old Nontobeko Ngwenya fell to her knees when she realised she had fired the winning shot after several attempts.
The elated Nontobeko immediately phoned her mother and broke the news to her. Her mother is also the first stop she intends to make on her way home.
To be entered into the competition contestants had to test drive the Proton X50.
