Focus on the Family to bring parenting experts to speak in Ballito
Rob Parsons and Katharine Hill collectively have written over 40 books on family life.
International speakers and best-selling authors Rob Parsons and Katharine Hill will be in Ballito this week as part of their tour of South Africa.
Speaking on ‘What Every Parent Has to Know’ Katharine and Rob will unpack topics that every parent faces at some point:
- Setting boundaries
- Showing unconditional love
- Navigating the digital world
- Preparing them for the outside world
The seminar will be held at FreedomHouse Church (next to Burnedale) in Umhlali on Wednesday, 1 March at 7pm.
Tickets are R50 per sperson and can either be purchased at www.safamily.co.za or at the door.
Rob and Katharine collectively have written over 40 books on family life.
Rob is the founder and chairman of Care for the Family, a charity which aims to strengthen family life and help those hurting because of family difficulties, primarily in the United Kingdom.
He has written several best-selling books, including The Sixty Minute … series on marriage, parenting and family life.
Rob is married to Dianne, lives in Cardiff in South Wales, and has two adult children, and five grandchildren.
Katharine is the UK director of Care for the Family.
She speaks and writes widely on family issues and is the author of several books, including her latest book A Mind of Their Own: Building Your Child’s Emotional Wellbeing in a Post-Pandemic World.
As a former family lawyer Katharine draws on her personal and professional knowledge in writing articles for newspapers and magazines, as well as in national and local broadcast interviews.
Katharine is married to Richard and has four children and five grandchildren.
Focus on the Family has brought this parenting resource to South Africa to encourage families and help them raise their children, pointing them to Jesus through healthy relationships.
