Doing it for cancer awareness
Cupcakes of Hope brand ambassador, Crystal Matthew, was delighted with the support and R2 000 they raised.
About R7 000 was collected for Cansa during the annual Shavathon held at Odyssey Shopping Centre at the weekend.
The event saw pupils from Ashton International College and Reddam House Ballito working together as volunteers for a good cause.
Cupcakes of Hope also sold cupcakes in aid of children with cancer, with Alpha Omega supermarket adding a donation of 100 cupcakes.
“We thank the community for their support. A special thanks to the pupils from both schools who came to help,” said Odyssey Shopping Centre’s Kelby Jade Metior.
