Robson’s trials new menu options

Robson’s Ballito is looking to expand its menu offering, and gave a sneak preview to a lucky few last Thursday evening.
Around 30 locals got the opportunity to sample a tasting menu, with six options paired alongside one of Robson’s own craft beers.

“We want to keep expanding into new areas and feel it is a good time to refresh the menu. With chef Marcelle Roberts, we are currently trialling new options and will add them to the main menu once we are certain on what works,” said Robson’s owner, Donn Stewart,
Tasters were encouraged to give their thoughts on the dishes, which included soft shell tacos, chicken wings, calamari, jalapeno poppers, sliders and a New York style cheesecake.

All six would be at home on the Robson’s menu, but our favourites were ginger and soy glazed Korean fried chicken wings and East Coast Ale.
You may need to wait to try the wings for now, but you can certainly find the ale in store, as well as all of Robson’s other beers.
